Yah, I know, I haven't been around here. Some of you have been e-mailing me and admonishing me about my absence. So, to regain your trust, love, and anything else I can get from you, here is something for this holiday season.
I think this version of the traditional mistletoe is very, very cool and I am going to make one of my own. I hope you all can find the time to put one togther.

I am a huge fan of the Google Docs and Spreadsheets system. I love how I can share documents and edit my writing anywhere - even without my laptop. One thing people don't see a whole lot of when they use this system is the template section. They have all kinds of great templates that you can use for your documents. But, the reason for this post is Google has shared a short video featuring how you can create art using a speadsheet document. It shows the power of collaboration and what you can do with it. Happy Holidays!Technorati Tags: docs, speadsheets, art, collaboration, google

A doowopera rendition of the classic soprano aria from Gianni Schicchi. It is quite funny but you be the judge...I don't really get the joke since I am not an opera fan but this is an example of a "classical mashup". I suspect this kind of thing has been happening for years. Long before the Internet, anyway. And some people think mashups were only done and "cool" during the information age. Pssh. This really has nothing to do with anything but, thanks to Wil Wheaton's post, I was reminded of the Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Film Festival. My friends and I used to go to this every year when it appeared at the Roxy Theatre in Victoria. The films were always bottom rung humour that either grossed you out to confused you. The film "I'm In Jail" (or whatever the title was) is a film that leaves you confused. Technorati Tags: roxy theatre, spike and mike, sick, twisted, films

I don't know why but this makes me smile. I remember back when this song first came out it was such a hit that I actually danced to it. Several times. Danced badly. In living rooms mainly. But, for your enjoyment, let's remember together... Technorati Tags: take on me, video, ah ha
