I don't know about you, but I feel totally empowered to head on down to 7-11 and steal some chips, a Slurpee, and kick the counter jockey in the nuts! Hell ya!Technorati Tags: kid rock, stealing, kicking poor bastards in the nuts
You may not have seen The Big Lebowski in the theatre or on DVD but now you don't have an excuse. The Big Lebowski frames all in a single image."You don't take a guys movie and put it in an image!"Technorati Tags: the big lebowski, image, photo, frames
The video above is the unedited version including the scream. How she survived, I will never know or understand. I will say this, however - she is lucky to be alive and I hope she makes the rest of her life that much more exciting and worthwhile. Yikes.Technorati Tags: lightning, caught on film, struck

I am heading to SXSW 2008 and I am happy that this film is going to be playing. I don’t play MMPORPG games, so, I can’t relate but I do play games. Maybe I should try one out…or not.Tags: mmporpg, second+skin+film, sxsw
There are few things as cool as space photography. Photos from space or from other planets should make us humble as we don’t realize from our daily lives just how small we are in the grand scheme of the Universe.
The Universe is most commonly defined as everything that physically exists: the entirety of space and time, all forms of matter, energy and momentum, and the physical laws and constants that govern them. However, the term "universe" may be used in slightly different contextual senses, denoting such concepts as the cosmos, the world or Nature.
Concepts like the vast space between stars don’t hit home until people have something tangible to look at – like we do now. Or, at least, between our own planets.

I found this on SlideShare and I felt is was worth re-sharing on this blog. Re-distribution. Re-mixed, perhaps. Not really. This slide show gives a brief history of what “piracy” is or, better yet, what is is perceived to be. It raises some great point and, hopefully, will be able to get your minds thinking about how you can join the revolution or, at the very least, understand it.
According to Wikipedia, the term “piracy” or “pirate” is:
A pirate is someone who commits piracy, i.e. robbery. In modern day terms, it can relate to the stealing of intellectual property, or copyright infringement, such as stealing music off of the internet.
Although, I think the other definition of piracy is more interesting:
Piracy is a robbery committed at sea, or sometimes on the shore, by an agent without a commission from a sovereign nation.

I have been quietly watching an event unfold on YouTube over the last week or so and, to me, it is quite fascinating. But first, a little back story for those who are not following this.
A couple of weeks or so ago, a video surfaced on the Internet which features Tom Cruise talking about his experience with Scientology. Apparently, the video is an internal promotional video (or propoganda, as some have classified it) and it was leaked by someone unhappy with the church. The Scientology Church attempted to have the video banned from video services and wanted it removed for breach of copyright.
A short while later, a group calling themselves Anonymous, posted the following video:
At first, I thought it was a joke but, apparently, it isn’t. This group wants to remove Scientology from the Internet and they don’t seem to care how they do it. This whole situation is right out of a movie or some trashy novel where the hero sports bandanas and carries a large multi-round weapon.
I would be interested on your opinion on this. I don’t think Scientology is the greatest of religions (if you can call it that) but it appears to have a lot of pull in Hollywood stars. Anyway, just something I discovered roaming the web.
The web site Funny Or Die and Will Farrell are giving away a fake hammerhead shark. All you have to do is be a member of a college and install a Facebook App called, surprise, the Funny Or Die app. Watch the video to see more.
Funny Or Die is holding a contest for our upcoming Comedy Tour hosted by Will. Whichever college (on the tour) with the highest percentage of students who install our FunnyOrDie facebook app will win this shark as well as some other prizes we're figuring out.
As Will says, if you don’t check out the contest, you’re an idiot.
